Nude Sculptures
All sculptures in the Vigeland park are nude. But none depicts sex. They depicts human being, behavior and relationship with rest of the world. It could be affection,love,sex,hatred,jealousy or any emotion or interaction with one another.
It is nice to assume you are an alien (non human) and observing these sculptures to understand who is a human being. May be this park will serve that purpose if human cease to exist some day.
Human Tower
The nude sculptures of the human tower and surround are made of monolithic rock and will last thousands of years. They depict who is human being by showing following aspects.
- How Human being look like at all ages.
- What are the behavior of human being at each ages (at infancy, toddler, teenager up to elder stages)
- Who does what at what age for the well being of the human kind.
